Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde ADRS is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join the Central Pharmacy Team ADRS and support pharmaceutical services across community and inpatient settings.

The role requires UK-registered GPhC status, relevant qualifications, and the ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, with opportunities for development within NHS Scotland.

Qualifications

• Be a UK-registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Hold the National Certificate (NC) in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
• Have SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services and an HNC in Pharmacy Services Development and Management.
• Possess Accredited Accuracy Checking qualification (Buttercups or NPA, 2019 or before).

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, delivery and evaluation of pharmaceutical services within ADRS.
• Optimise pharmaceutical care to maximise patient benefit and minimise risks.
• Work closely with the ADRS Lead Pharmacist to support staffing and services across settings.
