Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Bristol to support the safe, lawful supply of medicines while working with pharmacists and the wider healthcare team.

You will join a busy pharmacy team and develop the skills needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician through a Level 3 Apprenticeship, with training delivered blending learning alongside your role.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C/4-9 or equivalent.
• Willingness to commit to the full length of the apprenticeship and working hours.
• Interest in pharmacy and healthcare with a drive to progress to a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines safely and accurately.
• Providing patient advice on prescriptions and OTC medicines and referring to healthcare professionals when appropriate.
• Supporting daily pharmacy operations, stock control and clinical governance.
• Supervising and mentoring new staff as you progress in the role.
• Assisting with training and contributing to service audits and improvement.
