Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to support the safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines while working with pharmacists and the healthcare team. This role provides a clear path to becoming a registered Pharmacy Technician through Level 3 Apprenticeship and blended learning.

Working hours are Mon-Fri 9am-6pm (1 hour lunch) with possible Saturday mornings. Training combines on-the-job experience with structured learning to achieve GPhC registration on

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English; related qualifications acceptable.
• Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent may be required or provided during course.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
• Providing patient-centred advice on prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
• Supporting day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including stock control and governance.
• Supervising and supporting staff as you progress.
• Assisting with training and mentoring new staff.
• Maintaining high standards through auditing and responding to feedback.
