Job summary

Skills4Group in Brighton is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team and progress toward becoming a registered Pharmacy Technician. The Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship will be delivered through blended learning alongside the job.

As an apprentice you will support the safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines, work closely with pharmacists and the healthcare team, and gain valuable work experience with industry-specific competence and wage earnings.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C (4-9) in Maths and English desired.
• Willingness to commit to the full length of the apprenticeship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines safely and accurately
• Providing patient advice on prescription and OTC medicines
• Supporting day-to-day running of the pharmacy, stock control and governance
• Supervising and supporting staff as you progress
• Assisting with training and mentoring new staff
• Maintaining high standards through auditing and feedback responses
