Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English are desired but not essential as part of the course.
• Applicants without Maths/English Level 2 qualifications may take initial tests to determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
• Providing person-centred advice to patients on prescription and OTC medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate.
• Supporting day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance.
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy staff as you progress in the role.
• Assisting with training and mentoring new staff.
• Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback.
