Job summary

The Pharmacy Technician Apprentice role at Skills 4 Pharmacy offers hands-on training within a busy community pharmacy. You will support safe medicines supply, learn under pharmacists, and progress toward GPhC registration through a Level 3 apprenticeship.

Training is blended with on‑the‑job learning, focusing on accuracy, patient care, stock control and governance as you develop into a registered pharmacy technician.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English (desired).
• Willingness to commit to the full length of the apprenticeship and working hours.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines safely and accurately.
• Providing patient advice on prescription and OTC medicines.
• Supporting day-to-day running of the pharmacy including stock control and governance.
• Supervising and mentoring staff as you progress.
• Assisting with training new team members and maintaining high standards.
