Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy team. You will support safe and lawful medicine supply, work with pharmacists, and develop to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

The role includes hands-on training, mentoring, and the potential for full-time employment after successful completion. You will gain a nationally recognised qualification while earning a wage.

Qualifications

• Keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
• Previous experience in the pharmacy industry or similar is beneficial.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently; eagerness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
• Providing patient advice on prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
• Supporting day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including stock control and governance.
• Supervising and supporting staff as you progress in the role.
• Assisting with training and mentoring new team members.
• Maintaining high standards through audits and feedback responses.
