Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Lichfield is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. You will learn to support safe supply of medicines and work with pharmacists to develop your competence toward registration as a Pharmacy Technician.

The apprenticeship is Level 3, blended learning with on‑the‑job training. Start date 29 August 2026; apprenticeship may lead to full‑time employment on successful completion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C (4-9) in Maths and English.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.
• Ability to work in a busy pharmacy setting.
• Good communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage, order, receive and supply medicines safely.
• Provide patient advice on prescriptions and OTC medicines.
• Support day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy.
• Assist with training and mentoring new staff.
• Maintain high standards through auditing and feedback.
