Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust in Chelmsford is recruiting a Pharmacy Support Worker to join a team delivering pharmacy services across the EPUT region. You will support the Pharmacy department with stock management, dispensing prescriptions, and contributing to ward-based pharmaceutical care.

This role is ideal for someone taking their first step into pharmacy, with NVQ Level 2 equivalent qualification, training provided, and flexibility for full or part-time hours.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 2 equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Services is required.
• Full training provided for candidates who have not undertaken the training.
• Experience in hospital or community pharmacy is advantageous but not essential.
• A driving license and vehicle are preferred due to regional travel across the EPUT.
• Role involves working in main and satellite pharmacies across the EPUT region.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support services to the Pharmacy department including ordering, receipt, storage and supply of pharmaceuticals and other stock items, and dispensing prescriptions.
• Participate as an active member of ward/unit/clinical teams, supporting safe and effective use of medicines.
• Contribute to the pharmacy service to specific wards/units/clinical teams.
• Dispense and supply medication from satellite pharmacies under supervision of a registered pharmacy professional.
• Collaborate with clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to deliver integrated pharmaceutical care.
