Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust invites applications for a Pharmacy Support Worker Stores and Distribution role, focusing on receipt, storage and issues of pharmaceutical products and maintaining records.

You will support the use of inventory management systems and pharmacy automation to provide distribution services, monitor stock expiry dates, assist with goods receipt and packing, and undertake NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services through our in-house training.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy work is desirable but not essential.
• Keen to learn, hardworking and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and issue pharmaceutical products and maintain records.
• Use inventory management systems and pharmacy automation for distribution.
• Monitor stock expiry dates and assist with receipt of goods at pharmacy stores.
• Unpack goods, check quantity and quality against orders and delivery notes.
