Job Opportunity: Pharmacy Storeskeeper

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Storeskeeper to join our Pharmacy department at The London Clinic, based at our main hospital site in London (W1G 6JA). We are offering a competitive salary (Band 2 NHS equivalent) per annum, depending on experience.

Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals, with 8 state-of-the-art facilities and approximately 1350 employees. We are dedicated to providing our patients with expert, individualized treatment and care. Our main hospital spans 8 floors, comprising over 150 patient beds and 10 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two minimally invasive/day surgery theatres. Our specialties include General Surgery, ENT, Gynaecology, Hepatobiliary, Neuro-spinal, Ophthalmic, Orthopaedic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Robotic Surgery, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric Surgery.

Job Responsibilities

1. Unpack orders and store stock, ensuring appropriate stock rotation and expiry checks.
2. Collaborate with other pharmacy technical staff to ensure smooth interface between all pharmacy services.
3. Book in stock and process returns.
4. Order and replenish department stationery and sundries.
5. Manage sufficient supply of pharmacy fluids.
6. Support Pyxis management.
7. Manage daily ordering of medicinal products.
8. Assist the distribution team with returning unnecessary or incorrectly sent goods to suppliers.
9. Maintain effective procurement records.
10. Resolve order discrepancies, identify late or outstanding orders, and manage stock returns to suppliers.
11. Receive deliveries and book in pharmaceutical and other stock orders using the pharmacy stock control system.
12. Handle invoices and related queries promptly.
13. Complete the weekly invoice exemption report.
