Job summary

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Stores Assistant to join the Pharmacy Stores and Distribution team. You will help ensure safe and efficient receipt, storage and distribution of medicines to wards and departments.

The post supports weekend and bank holiday rotas and requires good English and Maths grades; teamwork, organisation and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• A-C /Grade 4-9 in English and Maths or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a hospital or pharmacy environment.
• Good organisational and communication skills; able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient stock management through receipt, storage and distribution of medicines.
• Order, pick, deliver and top up stock for wards and clinics.
• Maintain ward automation data accuracy and stock checks; support pharmacy automation systems.
