Job summary

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Stores Assistant to join the busy stores team. The role requires experience in pharmacy or logistics, with full training provided to support your success.

You will participate in stock provisioning, support ward automation, and ensure accurate data entry across pharmacy systems. The post involves processing medicine orders under the site license and carrying out general stock management duties in the pharmacy.

Qualifications

Experience in pharmacy or logistics is essential.

6-month probationary period applicable to new staff.
All jobs require permission to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Provide stock and non-stock items to wards and departments.
Support ward automation systems in stock control at ward level.
Ensure data entry into pharmacy computer systems is accurate and timely.
Process orders for medicines under Wholesale Dealer license terms.
Carry out general stock management: receipt, transfers, counts, rotation, discrepancies.
