Job summary

Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support Stores and Reception duties in a busy hospital pharmacy. The role offers full training and is ideal for those starting a career in NHS pharmacy support.

You will assist with receiving prescriptions, managing pharmaceutical supplies, and providing excellent customer service within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• GPHC approved L2 Pharmacy Qualification or willingness to work towards.
• GCSEs in English and Maths, or equivalent.
• Team-focused and able to complete tasks independently.
• Full training will be provided; hospital experience not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the receipt, processing, and provision of pharmaceutical supplies in the Stores department.
• Help with ward drug top-ups.
• Work on the Dispensary Reception, receiving prescriptions and providing excellent customer service.
• Handle busy enquiry lines and contribute to a safe and efficient pharmacy service.
