Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust invites applications for a Pharmacy Assistant in the Pharmacy Stores and Distribution department at Maidstone Hospital. You will join a busy team delivering a high standard of service to wards and supporting the dispensary as needed.

The role involves stock control, IV fluid replenishment, receipt and storage of external deliveries, and assisting with ward-based delivery of medications.

Formación

• Must be accurate, numerate and organised with good communication skills.
• Training will be provided to achieve NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate stock and IV fluid replenishment to wards.
• Deliver medications to wards and departments; check and request stock requirements and update stock lists.
• Assist with packing Emergency medication boxes on a routine basis.
• Receive and store external deliveries and ensure correct storage in the stores area.
• Assist with distribution tasks and occasional dispensing when required; heavy lifting involved.
