Job summary

Well Pharmacy is offering an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant role in Saffron Walden to support daily pharmacy operations while completing the Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship under supervision of registered professionals.

You will gain hands-on experience in dispensing, stock management and customer service, while working towards the Pharmacy Services Assistant qualification and supporting care homes and other services.

Qualifications

Willingness to learn and commitment to completing the apprenticeship.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
Basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

Support daily pharmacy operations while completing the Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.
Assist in dispensing, stock management and customer service.
Ensure accurate processing of NHS and private prescriptions.
Contribute to stock control and endoresing processes to maximise efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation and security in retail and dispensary areas.
