Job summary

Hall Road Pharmacy in Norwich is offering an Apprenticeship as a Pharmacy Assistant. You will support daily pharmacy operations while completing the Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship, working under trained pharmacists.

The role covers dispensing support, stock control, NHS prescription handling and customer guidance. Training includes regular college-based modules, with an apprenticeship wage and hours specified, and progression to Level 3 Pharmacy Technician after completion.

Qualifications

• Customer care and communication skills essential.
• Willingness to learn and complete the apprenticeship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing and stock management under supervision.
• Support NHS and private prescription processing.
• Deliver high standard customer service and health information.
• Maintain stock levels and expiry date management.
• Prepare Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) for care settings.
• Perform general administrative duties and cash handling.
