Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy in Colchester is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while contributing to daily pharmacy operations, helping customers, and learning on the job.

You will support with prescriptions, stock, and records, and gain hands-on experience in a healthcare environment with full training and supervision provided.

Qualifications

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential, as can be provided via the course.
Enrolment in Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with blended learning.
Willingness to engage with customers and support the pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
Prepare and supply prescriptions under supervision.
Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
Maintain cleanliness, health and safety and patient confidentiality.
Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
