Job summary

Essex Pharmacy vacancy for a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice. You will support daily pharmacy operations, assisting customers and working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support provided.

Key duties include customer queries, prescription assistance, stock handling, and using pharmacy systems, all while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential.
For applicants without Maths/English Level 2, tests may be required to determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries.
Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records.
Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
