Job summary

Skills4Group is recruiting for a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Wakefield. You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, assist customers, and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and ongoing support.

The role involves helping with prescriptions under supervision, stock handling, and delivering high-quality customer service in a busy community setting.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desirable.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship training provided.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training supported.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and answer queries.
• Prepare and supply prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health and safety, confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent service.
