Job summary

Skills4Group is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Leeds to support the day-to-day running of a busy community pharmacy. You’ll assist customers at the medicines counter, work closely with the pharmacy team and learn on the job while training for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

• GCSEs in Maths and English are desirable but not essential as part of the course.

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
