Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy in Liverpool is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support daily pharmacy operations, help customers, and collaborate with the team to ensure safe and efficient service. Training will lead to a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full support.

You will gain hands-on experience in prescription counter services, stock handling, and public health duties while earning as you learn. No prior pharmacy experience required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C/4-9) desirable but not essential.
• Full training provided to complete Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.
• No previous pharmacy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
• Work as part of a team to ensure good customer service
