Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Stockport. You will support daily pharmacy operations, help customers, and work with the team to ensure safe and efficient service while you learn on the job.

You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with training delivered alongside your role. The program runs for about 15 months, with blended learning and dedicated study hours.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience is required; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparing and supplying prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
