Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent is offering a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice position. You will support daily pharmacy operations, assist with prescriptions under supervision, and help customers while training for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Hours are full-time, Mon–Fri 9–6. Apprenticeship training is provided, lasting typically around 15 months, with full training and support.

Qualifications

• Basic IT skills; no prior pharmacy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
