Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy in the United Kingdom is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support day-to-day operations, help customers at the counter and work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe, efficient service. You will pursue a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support.

Duration typically around 15 months. Working Week: Mon-Fri 0830-1800; Sat 9am-12.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) desirable; training can be provided.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
• Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
