Job summary
Swindon Pharmacy is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join our busy community team. You will support the day-to-day running, assisting customers and helping with prescriptions while you complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training provided.
The role offers hands-on learning in a healthcare setting and a chance to earn while you learn. No prior pharmacy experience is required.
Qualifications
- GCSEs A-C (4-9) in Maths and English preferred, part of the course if needed.
- Willing to take Maths/English tests if not met.
- Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship training provided.
- Interest in healthcare and helping people.
- No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
- Help prepare and supply prescriptions under supervision.
- Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
- Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
- Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
