Job summary
Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
Mon-Fri 9-6; typical 15‑month training blending with your job. Earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification in pharmacy.
Qualifications
- GCSEs at A-C (or 4-9) in Maths and English is desirable but not essential; training provided.
- No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn on the job.
Responsibilities
- Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
- Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
- Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
- Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety, and confidentiality.
- Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
