Skills4Pharmacy in Fy8 1JF is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will earn while you learn, working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship and gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting.

You will support customers at the medicines counter, assist with prescriptions under supervision, handle stock and maintain records, and use pharmacy systems.

Qualifications

GCSEs at A-C (or 4-9) in Maths and English desired, not essential as course can provide
For applicants without Maths/English Level 2, initial tests may determine suitability for the course
No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries
Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision
Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records
Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
