Job summary

Boots is seeking a Relief Dispenser to work across a defined geographic area within the UK. You will be part of the pharmacy team, supporting the Pharmacist and healthcare professionals to ensure safe dispensing and delivery of services, while building strong patient relationships.

Your role involves dispensing, advising patients on medicines, adhering to SOPs, and collaborating with store teams to maintain continuity of care.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification (or equivalent) required.
• Ability to travel across defined geography with flexibility.
• Current and valid UK right to work; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Stay up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Assist patients in managing prescriptions and repeats to promote adherence.
