Job summary

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join the Production Team on a fixed-term basis. The role involves supporting the production and supply of medicines with onsite training provided to progress to Band 3 on completion.

You will work in aseptic manufacturing, assist with documentation, and support the pharmacy team in GMP-compliant processes, stock management, and training of new staff.

Qualifications

• Previous Pharmacy Production experience is desirable but not essential.
• Onsite training will be provided.
• Professional outlook with good organisation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist production of labels and worksheets and assemble materials for manufacture.
• Manufacture aseptic chemotherapy products in a cleanroom environment.
• Dispense outsourced chemotherapy products.
• Disinfect raw materials used for manufacture.
• Clean and monitor facilities and cleanrooms.
