Job summary

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy Technical Services team, contributing to the preparation of medicinal products across multiple manufacturing areas. The role involves rotating through Non-Sterile, Terminally Sterilised, CIVAS and Chemotherapy processes.

You will work in isolators with LAFCs, maintain high hygiene standards, and help train new staff while following GMP and written/oral instructions.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths, English and Science with grades A*-C.
• Previous experience in a drug manufacturing environment.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in GMP context.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing medicinal products across manufacturing areas.
• Rotate between Non-Sterile, Terminally Sterilised Batches, CIVAS and Chemotherapy sections.
• Work in isolators with Laminar Air Flow Cabinets (LAFCs); follow GMP and hygiene protocols.
• Assist with training of new and returning staff.
