Job summary
Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Dispensing Pharmacy Assistant to join the Aseptic Dispensing Unit and related Pharmacy Production pathways, based at Kings Mill Hospital in Sutton-in-Ashfield. The role focuses on preparing patient-specific injectables in a clean room environment and supporting QA processes.
The post is a full-time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, with a band 3 NHS AFC salary.
Qualifications
- In-house training for prescription interpretation, labelling and aseptic dispensing.
- Knowledge of working in a sterile environment.
- Regular in-house training including dispensing and distribution.
- Health and Safety training, COSHH and manual handling.
