Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is seeking a Practice Manager for our Dagenham pharmacy. This part-time role combines patient care and commercial responsibilities, reporting to the Area Manager, and leading the in-store pharmacy team to deliver safe, high-quality service.

You will oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, staff scheduling, and clinical governance while driving targets and profitability in a supportive retail environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Accredited to deliver national and local NHS services.
• Experience balancing line manager and pharmacist responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver patient care and safety.
• Manage reports and locums ensuring compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with store teams to provide clinical support and governance.
• Oversee weekly rota and staffing for scheduled shifts.
• Resolve issues and maintain strong connections with field teams.
