Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in St Austell is seeking a Practice Manager for our in-store pharmacy. This hybrid role blends patient care with commercial focus, requiring a strong leader to drive a profitable pharmacy business while delivering excellent patient experience.

You will manage the store Pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues, develop the team, ensure patient safety and compliance with GPhC standards, and collaborate with regional and head office support to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Accredited to deliver national and local NHS and private healthcare services.
• Able to balance the role of line manager and pharmacist to deliver a safe working environment.
• Able to inspire and motivate your team to take action and deliver within defined KRAs.
• Experience in handling difficult situations while maintaining connections with store and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience and high patient safety.
• Manage the store Pharmacist and Pharmacy Colleagues, supporting the drive to make the pharmacy the best in class.
• Deliver results by meeting targets and deadlines and ensuring compliance with GPhC standards and clinical governance.
