Job summary

Asda is seeking a Pharmacy Practice Manager in Bideford to blend patient care with commercial focus. Reporting to Area Manager, you will lead the in-store pharmacy team, manage the Pharmacist and colleagues, and drive pharmacy targets while ensuring professional standards.

The role requires GPhC registration, NHS/private service delivery, and strong leadership. You will coordinate with regional teams, support clinical governance, and foster an inclusive, high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Accredited to deliver NHS and private healthcare services.
• Ability to balance line manager and pharmacist duties and deliver results.
• Experience motivating teams and delivering KRAs.
• Experience handling difficult situations while maintaining store connections.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience.
• Deliver pharmacy-related targets and deadlines.
• Manage the store Pharmacist and Pharmacy Colleagues, ensuring compliance with GPhC standards.
• Support regional and home office teams with clinical or service queries.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and professional customer service.
