Job summary

Lincolnshire Co-op is seeking a Pharmacy Area Support Assistant to work with our Pharmacy Area Manager and support pharmacies across the area. The role focuses on delivering strong operational standards and excellent customer and patient experiences.

You will work hands-on with pharmacy teams, support colleagues and local partners, turning ideas into action and spotting opportunities to improve services and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading, supporting or developing teams within a retail/healthcare environment.
• Experience within retail, merchandising, operational management, pharmacy or healthcare.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• A caring and empathetic approach when dealing with customers, patients and colleagues.
• Confidence coordinating people, resources and day-to-day operational activity.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy teams with operational challenges and practical solutions.
• Help introduce and improve NHS and private pharmacy services.
• Build relationships with pharmacy teams, central support functions and local partners such as GP practices.
• Support staffing, recruitment and resource planning across our pharmacies.
• Coach and develop colleagues, helping them build confidence and capabilities.
• Support performance management and other HR processes.
• Monitor service KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement and help teams achieve goals.
• Carry out audits and support pharmacies with compliance and regulatory requirements.
