PHARMACY PIPC CHECKING TECHNICIAN (BAND 5) - developing the Cleanroom supervision role
An exciting opportunity to join the busy Pharmacy Aseptic Services Department has arisen at Cheltenham General Hospital. This post is based at Cheltenham General Hospital. As part of a regional cancer centre, the aseptic services unit prepares chemotherapy for patients from Gloucestershire and the surrounding area, including involvement in various clinical trials. The unit also supplies adult PN for both sites.
We have a vacancy for a skilled, motivated, and enthusiastic Pharmacy or Science Manufacturing Technician who is ready to take on an exciting role within the busy Aseptic Services Department at Cheltenham General Hospital. Newly qualified technicians or students qualifying soon are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need relevant qualifications (and be registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council if appropriate).

Participate in providing a safe and efficient aseptic production service for Cheltenham General Hospital, ensuring compliance with legislation, good practice, and quality standards. Assist in training new staff members and provide ongoing support and training to all Aseptic Services staff. Provide accredited checking cover within the production unit to ensure high pharmaceutical care standards.
