Job summary

Superdrug Stores plc in Oxford is seeking a Pharmacist Leader to manage the local pharmacy team, drive patient care and ensure compliance with GPhC standards. The role requires 47 hours per week across four weekdays and alternating Saturdays, with part-time options welcome.

The successful candidate will lead operations, stock management, and clinical services, while benefiting from a competitive salary up to £63,000 FTE, 25% bonus potential, extensive holiday entitlement and career development

Qualifications

• GPhC registered pharmacist with community pharmacy experience.
• Ability to lead a pharmacy team and manage stock, operations and standards.
• Independent Prescriber qualification welcomed but not essential.

Job description

Lead the Way in Community Healthcare – Become a Superdrug Pharmacy Manager!

Location: Oxford Templars (OX4 3JP)

Hours: 47 hours per week, working 4 weekdays (8:30am-7:00pm) and alternate Saturdays (9:00am-7:00pm). Saturdays are worked on an alternate-week basis.

Part-time applicants also welcome!

Salary: Up to £63,000 FTE – negotiable depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading your pharmacy team to exceed targets and deliver exceptional patient care
• Managing stock, operations, and GPhC (PSNI) standards
• Driving commercial success and ensuring compliance
• Delivering and developing pharmacy and healthcare services to meet the needs of your local community
• Using your clinical expertise to support patients with a wide range of healthcare needs
• Receiving direct support from your Regional Healthcare Manager
• Playing a key role in shaping the future of Superdrug’s healthcare offering

We’re Looking For:

• GPhC registered pharmacists
• Community pharmacy experience preferred
• Independent Prescriber qualification welcomed but not essential
• Newly qualified pharmacists are encouraged to apply
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Commercial awareness and understanding of NHS pharmacy funding
