Job summary

Superdrug is seeking a Pharmacy Manager for our Wellington, Somerset location to lead a busy team and drive exceptional patient care while ensuring compliance with GPhC standards.

The role offers a negotiable salary up to £70,000 FTE, with potential for up to 25% annual bonus and relocation support. 45 hours per week with alternate Saturdays; part-time applicants welcome.

Qualifications

• GPhC registered pharmacists are required.
• Experience in community pharmacy is preferred.
• Independent Prescriber qualifications welcomed but not essential.
• Newly qualified pharmacists are encouraged to apply.
• Strong leadership and team management skills are important.
• Understanding NHS pharmacy funding and commercial awareness is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pharmacy team to exceed targets and deliver patient care.
• Oversee stock management, operations and GPhC/PSNI standards.
• Drive commercial success while ensuring compliance.
• Develop and deliver pharmacy and healthcare services for the local community.
• Utilise clinical expertise to support diverse patient needs.
• Receive support from Regional Healthcare Manager to shape services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading your pharmacy team to exceed targets and deliver exceptional patient care

• Using your clinical expertise to support patients with a wide range of healthcare needs
• Receiving direct support from your Regional Healthcare Manager

We're Looking For:

• GPhC registered pharmacists
• Community pharmacy experience preferred
• Independent Prescriber qualification welcomed but not essential
• Newly qualified pharmacists are encouraged to apply
