We are seeking a qualified, motivated and experienced **Pharmacist Manager** to oversee pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance and deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care.. .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with GPhC standards, NHS requirements and applicable medicines legislation..
• Supervise the safe and accurate dispensing of NHS and private prescriptions, including controlled drugs..
• Provide professional clinical advice, medication counselling and appropriate over-the-counter (OTC) recommendations..
• Maintain effective stock control, procurement, storage and pharmaceutical record-keeping procedures..
• Lead, train and supervise pharmacy staff, promoting professional development and operational efficiency..
• Implement company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), risk assessments and patient safety protocols..
• Monitor pharmacy performance, optimise NHS service delivery and support sustainable retail growth and profitability..
• Ensure effective management of patient confidentiality, clinical governance and regulatory inspections..
• Develop strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals and NHS service providers..
• Maintain continuing professional development (CPD) and support the training of pharmacy team members..

Essential Requirements

• Sound knowledge of UK pharmacy legislation, NHS services and GPhC professional standards..
• Strong clinical judgement, leadership, organisational and communication skills..
• Ability to manage pharmacy operations independently while maintaining patient safety and professional standards..
• Previous community pharmacy or pharmacy management experience is desirable..
