Job summary

Superdrug Stores in Knowsley is seeking a Pharmacist Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Location: Huyton, 42.5 hours per week with alternate Saturdays. Salary up to £60,000 FTE negotiable depending on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will lead the pharmacy team, manage stock and operations, ensure GPhC standards, and deliver patient‑centred healthcare services to the local community while developing your leadership skills and career.

Qualifications

• GPhC registered pharmacist with leadership experience.
• Experience in community pharmacy preferred.
• Independent Prescriber qualification welcome but not essential.
• Newly qualified pharmacists encouraged to apply.
• Strong leadership and team management.
• Commercial awareness and NHS funding understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy team to deliver patient care and meet targets.
• Manage stock, operations and GPhC (PSNI) standards.
• Drive commercial success and maintain compliance.
• Develop pharmacy and healthcare services for local community.
• Support patients with wide range of health needs.
• Receive support from Regional Healthcare Manager.
• Help shape Superdrug’s evolving healthcare offering.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading your pharmacy team to exceed targets and deliver exceptional patient care

• Using your clinical expertise to support patients with a wide range of healthcare needs
• Receiving direct support from your Regional Healthcare Manager

We’re Looking For:

• GPhC registered pharmacists
• Community pharmacy experience preferred
• Independent Prescriber qualification welcomed but not essential
• Newly qualified pharmacists are encouraged to apply
