Job summary

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a role based in the pharmacy reception. You will undertake reception duties, answer the dispensary telephone, and ensure outpatient prescriptions are entered on the prescription tracking system.

Additionally, you will provide support to the dispensary staff, assist with clerical tasks such as filing and data input under supervision, participate in daily stock checks, and check off orders received into the dispensary

Qualifications

• Undertake reception duties at the pharmacy reception.
• Answer the dispensary telephone.
• Ensure outpatient prescriptions are entered on the prescription tracking system.
• Provide appropriate support as required to dispensary staff.
• Assist with general clerical duties e.g. filing and archiving of documentation, data collection, and data input under the direction and supervision of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Participate in daily stock checks.
• Checks off orders received into the dispensary in accordance with procedure.
