Job summary

Tesco Pharmacy in Stevenage is seeking a Duty Pharmacy Manager to lead the pharmacy team, oversee daily operations, and uphold patient care standards. You will work closely with pharmacists and store colleagues to deliver NHS and private services with excellence.

You will drive staff development and community engagement, supported by Tesco's leadership training and flexible working options, while coordinating with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries to optimise patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Degree required.
• GPhC registration and PVG scheme eligibility.
• DBS check to be completed before employment.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to empower a team.

Responsibilities

• Supply prescriptions and deliver NHS and Private services and provide healthcare advice to customers.
• Active involvement in the community through charity support programs for cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
• Support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues.
• Support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
• Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.
