Job summary

Tesco Pharmacy is looking for a Duty Pharmacy Manager to lead the team, ensure accurate dispensing of prescriptions and NHS payments, and deliver high‑quality patient care in our community.

You will support the Pharmacy Manager with training and development, liaise with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries, and contribute to Tesco’s charity programmes. A strong focus on leadership and patient safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required.
• Leadership and empowering a team.
• GPhC registration and willingness to join PVG scheme (assistance provided).
• DBS check arranged by us before employment.

Responsibilities

• Supply prescriptions and NHS/private services; provide healthcare advice.
• Support Charity programs advising at-risk groups in the community.
• Assist Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues.
• Help build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
• Ensure accurate NHS payment claims.
