Job summary

Boots UK is recruiting a Trainee Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will assist the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and help patients with medicines and health advice as you complete the NVQ2 dispenser training.

This role is based in the UK in-store; full training is provided, and no remote work is considered. You will develop skills with evolving store technologies and have opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Willingness to complete the Dispenser NVQ2 training.
• Current UK right to work; no sponsorship for Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines and labelling.
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Stay updated with store systems and operational processes.
• Help patients manage their prescriptions and medicines to promote adherence.
