Job summary
Boots UK in-store Trainee Dispenser role offers hands-on training and progression within our pharmacy team. You will assist the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals while you complete your Dispenser NVQ2 training, dispensing prescriptions and advising patients on medicines.
No prior experience is required; full training is provided. This is a UK-based role, located in-store, with a pay rate of £13.12 to £15.10 per hour in London locations and a focus on patient safety and excellent
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
- Complete Dispenser NVQ2 training as part of the role.
- UK right to work required; sponsorship not available.
Responsibilities
- Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
- Dispense prescriptions and ensure the safe supply of medicines.
- Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
- Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
- Follow SOPs to support the safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
- Keep up to date with new store technologies and comply with processes.
- Support patients to manage their prescriptions and medicines to promote adherence.
