Job summary

Boots UK in the United Kingdom is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to support the pharmacy team in-store while completing Dispenser training (NVQ2). You will greet customers, dispense prescriptions, provide medicine advice, and help ensure safe, compliant pharmacy services.

This role is in-store across UK locations (London emphasis stated). No remote work; training provided and progression opportunities, including potential Pharmacy Technician training and leadership paths.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines (ordering, labeling, dispensing, endorsing, collection).
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
