Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will dispense prescriptions, support the pharmacist, and advise patients on medicines and health options, ensuring safe and compliant dispensing within the store environment.

You will work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services, follow SOPs, and help patients manage repeats. UK right to work is required; progress on MPharm is welcomed.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification or working towards MPharm (Year 1).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship.
• Experience working in community pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Assist patients in managing repeats and medicines to promote adherence.
