Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to support the pharmacy team in-store. You will dispense prescriptions, greet customers, provide medicine guidance, and help ensure safe sale of medicines, while collaborating with Pharmacists to deliver high-quality services.

The role emphasizes patient relationships, adherence support, and usage of store systems to improve safety and efficiency. UK right to work is required and sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Dispense medicines following SOPs and ensure safe supply of prescriptions.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to Pharmacist.
• Work with store healthcare team to deliver pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to manage and deliver pharmacy services.
• Advise patients on medicines and refer queries to Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage prescriptions with reliable repeats to promote adherence.
