Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will assist the pharmacist with dispensing prescriptions, patient counselling, and appropriate advice to support health and wellbeing in our stores across the UK.

This role focuses on safe dispensing, patient care, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. UK right to work is required; remote applicants are not considered.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification or current progress toward MPharm.
• Current UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship.
• Experience in community pharmacy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and SOPs.
• Support patients in managing prescriptions and adherence.
